Piercing material - Acrylic
Acrylic jewelry is very fragile! It is not as strong as stainless steel or titanium jewelry. It should be worn as a novelty item, instead of continuous wear. RECOMMENDED FOR HEALED PIERCINGS ONLY.
Piercing material - Black steel
Black steel is Surgical steel 316L coated by using a PVD process ( Physical vapor deposition ) . The coating is extremely resistant to scratches .
Piercing material - Anodised steel
In order to anodised Surgical steel 316L , first plate it with Titanium. The colors are then much brighter than on normal Titanium.
